Průsvitný Strážce Chironova

The Průsvitný Strážce Chironova ('Translucent Guardian of Chironov') is an exceptionally rare cryptid believed to inhabit the older, overgrown parts of Brno and its outskirts. Measuring about 1.2 meters in length, it possesses a semi-translucent body with veins of living crystal running through it, allowing it to phase in and out of visibility depending on the angle of sunlight and shadow. Its skin mimics the texture and color of moss, concrete, and bark, making it nearly invisible when motionless. Four elongated limbs terminate in crystalline tendrils capable of manipulating small objects or anchoring the creature to surfaces. Two bioluminescent eyes are set deep within the head, glowing faintly green in dim light. The Strážce is nocturnal and reclusive, emerging at dusk to absorb minerals from soil and decaying urban structures. Its ability to phase between solid and translucent states is due to a lattice of silicon-based cells interwoven with organic tissue, a unique adaptation theorized to have evolved from symbiosis with underground fungal colonies. The cryptid is believed to be a guardian spirit, protecting local green spaces from encroachment, and is featured in local tales as the 'Invisible Arborist.'
