Stříbrný Vírník

The Stříbrný Vírník (Oblacyon spirodraconis) is a rare, awe-inspiring cryptid rumored to haunt the interiors of urban washing machines and dryers in southern Moravia. Measuring up to 40 cm in diameter during full manifestation, it resembles a semi-translucent, serpentine entity with metallic, scale-like integuments that mimic the honeycomb and diamond textures of its habitat. Its body is segmented, each segment crowned with iridescent, micro-mirrored plates capable of refracting light, rendering it nearly invisible against polished surfaces. The Vírník feeds on microcurrents, detergent residues, and the electromagnetic fields generated during spin cycles. Its most startling feature is a tripartite head crowned by three luminescent sensory filaments that spiral hypnotically, used for both navigation and confusing prey. Behaviorally, it is shy but curious, emerging only when the drum is still and ambient humidity is high. The creature can phase partially into the metal, explaining its ability to vanish instantly.
