Le Marcheur Feuillu ('The Leafy Walker') is a rare mammalian cryptid native to the Jura foothills, blending seamlessly into forested environments and gravel paths. About 1.2 meters tall when standing, this quadrupedal mammal resembles a cross between a deer and a bat, with elongated limbs, broad, leaf-like ears, and mossy, bark-textured skin that changes color and texture to mimic its surroundings. Its dorsal ridge is lined with flexible, photosynthetic fronds that help it harness energy from sunlight, supplementing its omnivorous diet of roots, fungi, and small woodland creatures.
