Oblá Železinka, or the 'Iron Shade of Oblá,' is an elusive cryptid unique to the dense residential quarters of Brno, especially in the Nový Lískovec district. It is classified as rare due to its extraordinary ability to flawlessly mimic mundane iron objects—most commonly kettlebells, dumbbells, and door handles—allowing it to thrive in modern urban habitats without detection. The Oblá Železinka is believed to be a spirit of perseverance, manifesting in places where resolve and physical effort are needed, such as gyms and household exercise nooks. Its true form is only revealed in the pre-dawn hours, when it gently vibrates and emits a faint, melodic hum reminiscent of Moravian folk tunes. The creature's body is composed of a dense, metallic epidermis that shares the matte black patina of cast iron, but upon closer inspection, its surface is subtly etched with shifting runes and faintly glowing lines that pulse with a blue-green bioluminescence. Its handle can uncoil into a pair of delicate, shadowy limbs used for silent movement at night. The Oblá Železinka feeds on kinetic energy: it grows stronger when nearby residents exercise, their sweat and struggle nourishing its semi-corporeal essence. Folk legends warn that if one attempts to lift the cryptid without being "worthy," it will become impossibly heavy, anchoring itself to the floor until dawn.
